Introduction

Cool lake breeze rolling in off the river led to an unusual number of PAX in long-sleeves for a September Morning. With a strong upper body focus on some schedules for IPC week 2 tomorrow, today’s beatdown was intended to hit the whole body, with little thought given to saving energy for tomorrow!

Circle of Trust

– GREAT READ: Relentless by Hamish Brewer. Its an education book written by a middle school principal, but it applies to all walks of life. Essentially, today’s CoT was short and sweet: we need to be growing every day. And with the world at our fingertips, if we are not growing, it is almost an intentional decision NOT to grow. As leaders, this is not OK. Relentless focuses on the positive ways in which we can DISRUPT the status quo and that is my challenge to us as men and leaders in our community. Look at what you do on a daily basis, and ID where we can disrupt the norm to affect positive change.

Naked Man Moleskin

After a VQ a couple of weeks ago, I was hooked and looking forward to leading again. As I was for my VQ, again I was honored and humbled that a group of 12 HIMs decided to meet me in the Gloom for a beatdown. I feel it is my responsibility to deliver, so I hope that your time was worth it, and I hope you left better physically, mentally, and spiritually than when you arrived in the parking lot. Time is precious, way to give it everything you have men!

HUGE shoutout to John Denver for having my 6! I’m inspired by the eager leadership of this group.
