The Thang

Thang-King of the Mountain

Split into two teams and bring coupons to base of the hill. Divide coupons evenly among teams into two piles at base camp.  8 coupons for each team of 5 men

Teams will be competing to get all their coupons to the top of the hill. Each team will have their own stack at the summit

There is a list of exercises and rep counts. Each PAX will complete the list in order. When you complete an exercise OYO, run to the top of the hill. Bring one of the coupons from your pile to the top of the hill. On the run down, you can bring one coupons with you from the other teams stack

The game stops after first PAX finishes the final exercise, goes up and down the mountain, and calls halt when reaching base camp

F3 credo

Leave no man behind yet leave no man where you found him

Since I found F3 a year ago, I am no longer in that place. A year ago I was more selfish. A year ago I was 30 lbs heavier. A year ago I had no need for a group of strong men.

During the past year I have found a new perspective of kindness, caring and selflessness. I have been transformed into a man in great physical shape. I have been integrated into an incredible group of men that I could not imagine a life without.

You have had a tremendous impact on my life. I have been propelled to movement and acceleration. I don’t want to slow down. Where you find me today should not be where you find me on my 2nd year anniversary

Leave no man behind. This applies more than just in the gloom. Leave no man where you found him. This is just as important on day 365 as one day 1.

Don’t get complacent. Keep chasing improvement. Keep aiming for perfection. Perfection is a goal never achieved. Perfection is a lifelong pursuit

Leave no man behind and you won’t get behind. What can you do for the man next to you? What can you do for your M? For your 2.0? What can you do for the cashier at the store? Even a small gesture can have a big impact. These small things will continue to propel you

Leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him. This credo applies to all aspects of life. With that

Let us pray

Let us pray that those in need find help

Let us pray that the sick find health

Let us pray that all men in darkness find a light

Amen

Naked Man Moleskin

King of the Mountain worked well.  It was fun and challenging.  I would have preferred to have more coupons.  4 coupons per PAX would be minimum.

WoR was great.  I really enjoyed the groans of PAX that weren’t allowed to drop their arms.  Will have to bring that one back for a future Q

Thanks again to all the men that joined!!
