Introduction

got in a 3 mile EC with Gopher to start it right. Felt really good. Got me excited to debute a new exercise that I was pretty sure was going to suck to high heaven. The Triple Blockee Thruster. Yeah it delivered. Though we already know how to make it harder. Anyway… nice and warm this morning (mid 40’s) so off we go!

Triple Blockee Thrusters (here’s a beaut – the blockee is the core of this move, when you drop into the merkin on the block, do 3 merkins, then stand and lift block overhead like a regular blockee, but then transition right into a thruster)

Behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity. (psalm 133:1)

Think of this. We promote and champion “iron sharpens iron”. Ancient metallurgy discovered that iron implements could sharpen other iron implements, though the exact knowledge of “why” wasn’t yet possible to know without modern science. (carbon okays a huge role here)

By the same token though iron can cause great conflict with other iron. Sword fights come to mind.

In the same vein, we are iron. We can sharpen each other by supporting, by pushing, by encouraging, EHing, blackmailing and even trash talking. This creates unity, not division. And believe me, it’s good and pleasant.

But if we choose to sow seeds of conflict by using our iron to hurt, we cause pain and division, and we all suffer for it.

Choose how you will use your iron. Will you sharpen others, or hurt?
