Introduction

Snowy morning. Driving to Outpost at 4:50 roads weren’t plowed. I’m thinking I would understand if a lot of HCs from last night won’t show up.

Arriving at the Outpost I 2as pleasantly surprised that Park district have started clearing up the snow.

As I  surveyed the area to prepare for modification, the Pax started driving in.

Very encouraging that F3 shows up in the gloom in this type of weather. At CoR we were 24 strong.

At coffeteria the lady cashier at Panera said; “ya all are crazy.” I took it as a compliment.

Before we pray..

Is everyone here a Christian? Anyone who isn’t?

Checking to be sure…

Our society is structured to make sure we don’t impose our beliefs like faith, religion, political affiliation and principles, etc., into other people.

I’d like to share what caught my attention lately in the ongoing trial in our government. This is not by all means extraordinary. I just want to explore this thought with you, my brothers.

We have been in the middle of a war.

For so long, possibly since man stepped into this planet, this war has already begun. It’s the only war that each single man can cause, can fight in, can be a victim or a casualty of, can be a victor and champion for. Each single man has the power to start or stop this war. He can be the general or a soldier, civilian or fighter, victor or vanquished at the same time; The War of the Words.

As  long as man has the capacity to think for himself, there is War of the Words.

Words have much power in them. It’s how we express ourselves, it’s what makes humans sit on top of the hierarchy in the Animal kingdom. Words is a  tool we use to express our thoughts and be understood by other fellow humans.

It can evoke emotions or thoughts. It persuades, can give comfort and healing hope and strength. It can build. It creates love

Or it can be the opposite it can destroy, weaken or cause despair, hatred and fear.

What words will you choose?

Thank you for another day to breath, to live, to suffer, to laugh, to love.

Grateful for safely bringing g us together this morning in fellowship. Praying for safe travels as we head home.

Prayers for Kirsten embrace her with healing and strengthen her spirit as she battles cancer.

Teach us to discern the words we use and receive in our lives.

In Jesus name

Amen
