Introduction

PreBlast for Two Wolves 9/7/21!I haven’t taken a Monday off in who knows how long. All I can say is that I am now well rested and ready to GO! Still working out our plan but what I know for sure… bring your coupons, gloves, and a desire to get after it for 45 min.SYITG! :the_horns:

I arrived at the AO at 5 and quickly surveyed the area. Made my way around to the tennis courts to set up some cones. Moseyed around to the hill and finalized the route we would be taking.

Nice calm morning. Good temp. Ready to go!

The Thang

Thang 1 – Mosey to Tennis Courts with Coupon

Start Along the Sideline of Court 1 (Base). There are cones placed at the midline of Court 1 (Cone1), Far Sideline of Court 1 (Cone 2), Near Sideline of Court 2 (Cone 3), Midline of Court 2 (Cone 4), and Far Sideline of Court 2 (Cone 5).

At Base, 5 Burpees. Lunge Walk with Coupon to Cone 1 and do 10 Thursters. Run back to Base and hold plank for the 6.

At Base, 5 Burpees. Bear Crawl to coupon at cone 1 then lunge walk with coupon to cone 2. 20 Overhead Press. Run back to base and hold plank for the 6.

At Base, 5 Burpees. Bear Crawl to coupon at cone 2 then lunge walk with coupon to cone 3. 30 Coupon Squats. Run back to base and hold plank for the 6.

At Base, 5 Burpees. Bear Crawl to coupon at cone 3 then lunge walk with coupon to cone 4. 40 Coupon Curls. Run back to base and hold plank for the 6.

At Base, 5 Burpees. Bear Crawl to coupon at cone 4 then lunge walk with coupon to cone 5. 50 Chest Press. Run back to base with coupon and hold plank for the 6.

Thang 2 – Mosey to the base of the hill with your coupon.

5 Coupon Swings on my UP. Run up the hill then down the path around the side towards the ninja course. Sprint the 40 yard dash on the turf. Go up and over the net. Run up the stairs and hold squat. Once the 6 is in, we will do 5 Smurf Jacks In Cadence. Run back down the hill to the coupons.

Repeat with 10 Coupon Swings and 10 Smurf Jacks IC.

Repeat with 15 Coupon Swings and 15 Smurf Jacks IC.

Mosey back to flags.

I didn’t even realize this when I scheduled this Q a few ago, but it happened to fall right on my two year manniversary! I initially scheduled this Q because I was going to have the Two Wolves SiteQ flag passed on to me from Nala. Double the celebration! I was highly involved with a lot of things related to Virtuosity and I am glad that in doing that, I was able to continue to earn a spot in a SiteQ position with Virtuosity shutting down. I look forward to continuing to help out this great group going forward. F3 has provided a lot for me both physically and mentally. In thinking of my manniversary, or just any anniversary in general, I came across a quote. To paraphrase, Love (or in this case, F3) isn’t about the years, months, weeks, or days that you put into it. It is about what you are doing today! We have PAX that range anywhere from 7packs every single week, to guys who can post maybe once or twice a week. It doesn’t matter all too much though. The key is YOU getting yourself out when you can. What are you doing TODAY to get better? We have a group of guys that can push you, but ultimately it is YOU vs YOU! Get after it!

Naked Man Moleskin

It was a fun day out in the gloom. This workout had me more gassed than usual. Possibly a result of taking an extra day off yesterday? Possible because I was recovering from a 12 hour bout of food poisoning over the weekend? Either way it felt like a good burner. It was great to have some F3 royalty out for the Q too!

Something that really stuck out to me during the workout today was how PAX really step up and help each other out. Yes, we are out here trying to get a good workout in. But it is more than that. During thang 2, we had to go up and over the net at the obstacle course. We had a PAX get stuck the first time through and ALL the PAX stopped what they were doing and helped / cheered him on. He was able to get up and over with some minor guidance and then proceeded to crush it the next two times through. Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him!

I need to invest in some light up cones…
