Thoughts

Yesterday, I got an email at work that it was “recommended” that everyone work from home if you were able…for the next 3 weeks! I’m not sure if this will be a blessing or a curse. I usually WFH in Thursday’s anyway, but this will be a new dynamic.

It is easy and sometimes fun to make light of the pandemic that seems to be suffocating everyday life, for it is basically a version of the flu, which we all get from time to time. However, of course in reality it is a concerning infection – particularly for those who may have compromised immune systems. We should all respect the virus’ potential, but more so the disruption to everyday life and potential quarantines that may be in our future.

It is rare in my lifetime that I have seen such hysteria that actually made its way to the US.  I am intrigued, and at the same time cautious. Please do your part to stay healthy and to keep those around you healthy. Stay home if you’re sick. Wash your hands frequently. You know the drill.

Due to my now working from home for awhile, I attended my first Q Source after today’s workout. It was about your “Queen”.  I would say this was probably the perfect Q source for me to attend as it dealt with the vice of food. I have certainly struggled with taking and keeping the weight off. Uncle Rico hooked me up with the Accountability channel in slack, so I plan to use that for a bit to keep me honest as well.

Take control of your own journey and make it happen.
