Introduction

A nice gorgeous day for Run Club and thanks all for coming out for my VQ.

F3 is a free men’s workout peer-led in a rotating fashion. I am not a professional nor aware of your injuries, modify as necessary.

2 lines formed and the men enjoyed 1 lap near the from parking lot to basketball courts and back. Towards the end of the .90 mile loop everyone stopped at the “Sprint” line. OYO from there, get in as many laps as you can around the loop before time was up.

There were some incredible gazelles out there, there were some very mighty pushes to finish strong and it was great to see everyone catching their breath for a few minutes of mary.

I shared about my 2 months journey into F3 so far. Zima threatened to sign me up on the Q sheet last week if I didnt sign myself up.

Last year, I ran my first marathon and I was flying high coming into 2020. I had set goals for mile times, 10k, half marathon, and marathons and then Covid hit. Races were being cancelled left and right and I find very little reason to train or get out and run each day. Quarter Cart and Trailer Park kept bugging me to join F3 and uphold my promise about trying it after it hit 50 degrees.

I have loved the group, it has pushed me harder than anything else has, the men keep each other accountable and I try to get out to as many run clubs and a few boot camps as I can.

I have learned it is important to push others in the same way. Hold your friends, co-workers and people in your own home accountable. Be the person that drives others to be better.

I had an interview at 8:30 this morning and I was fired up from my VQ to go into that interview strong and prepared.

Final note/quote: When I was a freshman in college a motivational speaker came out and shared a quote that I have kept in my head all the time. “Chances aren’t given, they are taken.” Take a chance this week, do something big, and push others to do the same.
