Opening Commentary: What follows is the historical account (Backblast) of the November 16, 2020 Beatdown lead by Rusty at the F3 Naperville AO (Area of Operation) known as The Outpost. It is important to note that this was the original AO for Naperville. We will later learn that more than 10 regions and 5000 AOs sprang from these humble beginnings in 2018.
At the time of this beatdown, the world was heading into the second wave of the Covid-19 virus outbreak. It was during this time that almost every person on the planet over the age of 3 owned multiple face coverings. These were used to hopefully stop the spread of the virus. Along with the use of face coverings, states like New Amazon and Uber-ton (formerly New York and Illinois, respectively, before going completely bankrupt and being purchased by mega corporations) wrestled with the decision to close all businesses and quarantine the citizens in their homes.
While history has judged these decisions harshly, we now know that the leadership exhibited by the men of F3 carved the path forward once a vaccine was finally approved for use in humans (circa 2023). Furthermore, were it not for the horrible pandemic that plagued the planet, and the ensuing panic that stagnated most people, we would not have seen the rise of great American leaders like President-Elect Frank the Tank (Whoo-Whoo!!). The language being used can seem somewhat archaic in nature, but was commonplace in the earlier part of the 21st century.
With the way the wind was howling on Sunday, I was not sure how many HCs I would get to Monday Mania at The Outpost…. But I was pleased to have a total of 13 HCs as I went to bed. I was looking forward to a (hopefully) challenging beatdown and some awesome mumblechatter!!
As I pulled into the Outpost at 5:08am, I was surprised to see only 2 other cars in the lot… Was I going to get some Fartsackers….? But by 5:13am there was a steady line of cars pulling into the lot.
5:15am strikes and I start the disclaimer making sure to add that we all need to social distance as much as possible because the Covid numbers are increasing again.
It is time to start….

In this world there will be times when societal norms try to pull us away from what we know to be right and true (Our Northstar). We need to fight this with all of our might! We cannot let the whims of the day lead us down the wrong path. Our families, our co-workers and our communities need us to fight the urge to “go along to get along”. Keep fighting!
We prayed for Appletini’s M and Carmen San Diego as they start new jobs today. We prayed for the sick of mind, body or spirit that God would grant them healing and peace. We prayed for those that have died that God would welcome them into His loving embrace in Heaven. We thanked God for the strength to do what we do and asked that He continue to push us to become better.

Naked Man Moleskin
There always seems to be one or two things that happen at each workout that make me laugh…. Sometimes it’s the sophomoric banter of Appletini and Onions… But today it was all about the farts…. We all know that Roach Coach is full of hot air…. but usually that air escapes from his mouth…. Today, as Shandy can attest, RC was like an odiferous deflating bagpipe! We all needed to be upwind of him to escape the toxic cloud that kept bellowing like an unmuffled lawnmower in need of a tune-up.
Please RC, take some Gas-X before you decide to post again!!!
Thanks to the 11 men that joined me this morning. I always enjoy getting the opportunity to lead a workout because I know the men of F3 Naperville will continue to push me to get better.
