Introduction
Join YHC at the Outpost tomorrow for an out and back run. We’ll be on the trail path heading west. Bring a headlamp if you have one and be the light for a fellow PAX. SYITG but HC in the thread below.

The Thang
Starting at 5:19 am, we have 36 minutes for an out and back. Headed west towards Two Wolves, set your watches to turn around after 18 minutes. Two Wolves is 2 miles away, so if you can run at a 9 min/mile pace, you should be able to say hello to our Two Wolves PAX and head back. If you’re slower than that pace, that is perfectly fine. Just go as far as you can for 18 minutes and then head back.

Circle of Trust
This last weekend was a joyous celebration as Christians lit the first Advent candle and the Jewish synagogue lit the menorah. It’s a special time of year as Jews celebrate Hanukkah and Christians celebrate advent. As we reflect on the story of the menorah – there was enough oil to light the candle for 1 day but God provided and it was lit for 8 days – we are reminded to believe in the strength of God.
There is a lot of horrible things going on the world, but there have always historically been bad things that occur. The news focus a lot of time and attention on bad things, but focus on the positive and all that is good in our community. Be the light in someone else’s life and pick someone up who is struggling. As we celebrate the light of the Menorah and Advent wreath this season, focus on doing good. Aye.
