Men It’s been a great first year. In June of last year I was just finishing my recovery from a running injury where I was not active for 18 months and gained 40 pounds it was hard to do anything. Honestly there were times that I sat in the parking lot of the judgement free zone and just never went in, just sat in the car for 30 minutes and went home. I know that’s sad. Luckily Hooch invited me again and told me Putz was in too, so I figured why not. I’ve said this before that it started with Bjorn’s college party and I thought that was cool. Then the beatdowns started, it was hard, I was really out of shape but the vibe at the complex is what kept me coming back. It is the relationships that we formed though positive encouragement and coffeeteria that keeps me coming back. Although I am only half way back to my goal weight but I know that I will get there in time.
So what I wanted to share with all of you is thank you, thanks for the callouts on the pre-blast, letting me run at Pizza Speed, and being a part of the best AO in F# Naperville.
