Thang Uno
7 of Diamonds
Performed on a large diamond (i.e. a square); we use the outside of a baseball field, but any large area will work. For the first round, do 7 reps of an exercise (burpees) at each of the 4 corners with a mosey (or sprint) in between corners. Each round, increase by 7 reps with a different exercise each round, for a total of 4 rounds. Round 2, 14 four count flutter kicks at each of the 4 corners. Round 3, 21 merkins at each of the 4 corners. Round 4, 28 squats at each of the 4 corners.
Being we had so many PAX in attendance we split up onto 2 baseball fields. Once we split into two separate groups we then split into smaller groups and began our exercises on different bases so we wouldn’t be pilled on top of each other.
Thang Dos
Dora 1-2-3
We partnered in Teams of 2 pax along the perimeter of the baseball field working together to reach cumulative exercise goals of 100, 200, and 300 reps. (100 merkins, 200 LBC’s, 300 Squats). Pax 1 executes as many reps as possible while Pax 2 sprints to infield down and back. Flapjack until team goal is reached. Exercises are a top-to-bottom of body progression
I stopped the D.O.R.A around 5:47 so we could squeeze in a couple sprints before heading back to the flags for Mary.

There are no traffic jams on the extra mile. -Zig Ziglar
I encouraged the PAX to go the EXTRA MILE. Knowing the answered to my question I asked the PAX if they experienced any traffic on the way here this morning….Of course not! Why? Because only MAD MEN like us get up at 4:30 ITG to go work out at 5:00am ON A SATURDAY. 33 men made the decision to begin their weekend by going the extra mile. More than a workout isn’t just something we say so let’s go out in the world and go the extra mile outside of F3, as often as possible because it’s never crowded there.
Naked Man Moleskin
What a morning!!! As the HC’s were rolling in I asked myself “Why’d you sign up to Q?”. I signed up to Q because a week ago today Riunite posted a 7 pack challenge on 1stFChannel. He asked who was going to Q EOP as it was still open. My dumb self resisted about an hour before taking the spot. A 7 pack was not my intention. My intention was to accept the challenge (uncomfortableness) of Q-ing EOP, something I hadn’t done before and then head to my site Q duties @ DT. A PAX and good friend of mine asked me Saturday afternoon as we were texting back and fourth how it felt to Q with so many in attendance. First of all it was an honor and very humbling yet whether it’s 3 PAX you’re leading or 33 the intensity should never drop below the standard you’ve set for yourself. I did the best I could and I can live with that. A major victory in the Q-ing world was I actually remembered to get a head count before heading to Thang Uno. I wasn’t going to write this backblast because I simply didn’t feel like it and then I remembered how much of a hypocrite I would be as I give Boxcutter a hard time for the same thing. The best thing we can do as Leaders is lead by example. I have many to thank for being that example in my life and hope I can repay others by being the same for them.
Thanks F3N for continuing to invigorate my Leadership
Signing off…See you @ the TOP!
