Circle of Trust

Prayers for the family and friends of neighborhood father in his late 30’s who passed away this weekend during a race in Lake Geneva, WI.

Prayers for Columbus’ mother-in-law who is battling recent ALS diagnosis.

Prayers for Spork’s father as he prepares for upcoming surgery.

Over the weekend, I reflected and discussed with others about overcoming adversity.  My son scored an own goal in his soccer game at the end of the game to cost his team a win and didn’t want to come back for the next 2 games.  He finally overcame sorrow, showed up and did great for the remainder of his tournament.  We’ve all faced adversity of different proportions over time, whether they are through work, relationships, physically, psychologically, etc.  All men who become great at something have overcome some type of adversity over time.  It makes us more focused and drives us to work harder.

Prayers for all PAX to focus and overcome whatever adversity they are dealing with in their lives.

Naked Man Moleskin

After running with @Nest for months, he showed up on his birthday and decided to blaze past almost all of us.  I’m not sure if turning 45 gave him a push or if he’s been sandbagging us the last 3 months, but great work and effort!
