Maybe I’ll call it my Scottie Pimping year lol At the moment I can’t give you a traditional beat down so I said RUCK IT! AO. There will be lots of stairs and a couple parking garages. I thought about walking through the river yet I don’t want that sad clown neighbor yelling at us so that idea went out the

Thang One
Ruck throughout downtown Naperville, hit every stair you see. While Rucking it was our mission to learn how 2 PAX (minimum) got their F3 Name. The mummblechatter was awesome and the conversations being had were music to my ears as that was the intention. We made sure to hit both parking garages (stairs to the top). Rucked along the north side of the riverwalk and on the back back the south side. Back to the flags.

I failed my second go around at 75 Hard on day 55.Two pages in Saturday night I feel asleep before completing my 10 pages. I woke up with my book tucked under my belly. For a sec I was more pissed my book was no longer crispy. I’m a geek like that. My first actual thought was fuck I let Riunite down. It was early Sunday morning after Lincoln games so victim hood was vicious. I had to get a grip quick. I know failure is my friend yet its still a struggle to get used to. Tough love I guess. I had a decision to make and I decided I would honor all 75 days and fess up at my Saturday Q on day 76. The last 20 days were probably as tough as the first 55. Especially with summer season approaching and the drinks flowing. The bitch voice was all I heard. It was tough mentally. I thought about not fessing up many times yet that audio wouldn’t match the video.The last 5 months have flown by. These last few days in reflection have been humbling. I feel I am more aware of my blind spots. I have more clarity as a husband and a father. God knows I need help. Maintaining a high speed allowed me to now see things a little slower.I’m so grateful for this program.Riunite I dropped the shield lock, that is my only regret. I own it. I didn’t plan well enough.What’s the difference between ordinary and extraordinary? That little “extra”.
My CoT on Saturday was about failure and it was glorious. I was fortunate to look into my brothers eyes and tell him in person. Up to that point no one but my M knew I had failed. I was disappointed and at the same time so proud and thankful. The gratitude quickly overshadowed the gloom. I listed the accomplishments during the past 150 days. A lot of first’s. A lot of things money can’t buy. “If this is what failure looks like, I want to fail again”.
Riunite wrapped up with a beautiful CoT of his own as we toasted with the PAX.

Naked Man Moleskin
The backblast procrastination has been eating me alive & I could not delay one more day. I was not holding the standard I’ve set for myself. Life feels really fast sometimes which teaches me I need to slow down more often. What’s the point of going fast If I miss the scenery is a question I’m asking myself more frequently. 75 Hard has taught me to slow down and prioritize my big rocks before filling with sand.
It was a beautiful morning from my perspective. OCD, Paint by Numbers & Clearcoat came from Citadel which made my morning. La Luz Boyz in the house! Roadtrip posting on a Saturday due to work is a rare occasion that was also cool. Cheeks is another La Luz boy who I believe posted at DT for the first time. Backdraft and WIAB made the trip from EIL, love those Bros! The DT boyz were also in the house Bjorn (had to take off early to slay tennis), Dingo, Radio Flyer and Unicyle, thank you. When I saw Glen’s HC come through I knew it was a PARTAYYYYY. Blueprints also made the trip yet I don’t recall if he double tapped, my apologies if you did (you’re still HARD in my book). Last but not least I want to thank my hermano Riunite. You made it a special morning and as I type this I am able to relive that emotion a tad bit, thanks brother!
