Introduction
This was my second Q in a row where I had a hill beatdown laid out and ready to be executed, only to have to switch it up due to the rain the night before, making the hill a little slick. No need to risk injury, there is plenty we can do in the parking lot. I laid out a 3 round Killer B’s beatdown for thang 1 and some suicides for thang 2.
Early indications looked like we would have a light turnout, but as the evening progressed, we had a solid crew that HC’d, ready to get after it the next morning. I arrived early to the HH and set up the cones and got the tunes ready to go. Cars started to roll in and 5:15 hit – it was Go-Time.
Intro and Disclosures provided and we got after it.

Pulling up in the parking lot it was good to see the number of cars rolling in. It was also good to see Breakaway again, as our workout paths hadn’t crossed since early this year. The parking lot mumblechatter started early in the pre-workout when I disclosed that there would be a good share of Burpees to be performed. After hearing this Gaylord decided to put his weighted vest back in his car. There were groans and moans, but I knew we would get through it.
The Killer B’s were crushed with Half Price and Elway leading the way. Merlot was spilled by a 2nd timer, but to his credit, he grabbed some water and got right back after it and finished strong.
Everyone crushed the workout and together we got better.
Thanks to all that came out to support me and all the other PAX. Keep pushing. Until next time.
