Introduction

Conditions were wonderful… crisp cool 60 degree morning, clear skies, sleepy eyes, and a bit of anticipation as to what YHC was planning for this RC.  QIC came in a tad hot at 0512 and got some laser looks of confusion.. will we be doing Indian runs? Is this going to be a real RC?  Out and Back?  It was nice to see some new faces and some old faces that have been stuck in a video game addicted haze!! I really don’t want to mention any names but it rhymes with Milson.  Let’s hope (again.. keeping names out of it) that Flop Top, Hold Puts, and Jerkel can make an appearance at some point.  Message to 2.0s … Video games will rot your brain.  I know, I know..Hold Puts.. you overslept!  It’s all good…. from one fartsacker to another…it happens when you are working your stones off!  Some virtual fist bumps were had.. some real ones were given… circled up, disclaimer given.  AAAAHHH LE-GO!!

10 Year F3 Anniversary… who’s going? who’s signed up? How are they planning on getting there?

Make sure you do your best to get out there in January.  It’s going to be EPIC, it’s going to be HARD, it’s going to be a ton of fun for us and our families if you decide to bring your tribe.

Q-source coming back outside to OP parking lot and the BUX parking lot.

Prayers for Zima’s friend Rob and Jennifer, Blues Clue’s friend Brad and all those unspoken.

Naked Man Moleskin

In my humble opinion F3 workouts are for encouraging each other, pushing each other, busting each other’s chops, and following the F3 Credo which is “Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him”, and with that said, I’m not a fan of the “out and back” way of RC… We end up splitting up, some faster, some slower, and for most of us we fall into the “comfortable” pace group.  I like the mumble chatter, I like trying to catch PAX, I like to be chased by PAX.  It gets me going.  I try to base my RC Qs around keeping us together, giving some of the slower paced guys a chance to stay in sight with the gazelles so they can keep digging.  Which is what happened today… Blues Clues jumped out to a COMMANDING lead over some of our other gazelles.  YHC decided to throw a little mumblechatter at Seabiscuit not to let them “get away with that?“… and as our very own Uncle Rico stated…”They have him right where they want him“.  By the time we were on our second go around I saw the three amigos (Elmer Fudd, Ball Boy, and Curds) turn on the afterburners and next thing you know Blues Clues, FIB, and RICO were the second place group.  All of which were getting after it!  We coudn’t tell who was chasing or running from who.  While those beasts where battling for first… I got some quality time catching up to Seabiscuit after I ran our young buck Tool Time into the ground (it’s all good TT.. you put up a good fight for a 24 year old… but this old man had shit to do brah..had to blow out! LOL).  Good thing I did too… because Seabiscuit gave me a full tutorial on how he tries to keep his heart rate zone under 155 for the long haul, and how it has helped with his pace and distance!  The conversation was riveting!!! LOL.. I love me some BISCUIT!!!   While YHC was coming around for the third lap, we were running low on time so while we were waiting for the gazelles to show back up, we did continuous suicides in the parking lot by the flags!!! My heart rate was definitely over 155!! Good times had by all… hope you all enjoyed it as much as me!!!

Until Saturday at DT (w/ TBD as Site Q)….

Appletini OUT!
