Noonan’s final BB concluded with:
“The last song we listened to “Your love is lifting me higher”, like every love song, I listen to it with imagining the subject is Jesus…really changes the meaning of the song for me. Listening to it this morning and working out with you, definitely makes me want to strive to be the man God wants me to be.”
I would never think of this cheesy song in this way, but Noonan was clearly a man who had a deep faith. I knew him only through F3, but he was an amazing motivator, (s***-talker to me when my shorts were too short), and very caring. May he RIP.
Naked Man Moleskin
Fredo (who knows the Noonan family very well) joined us last minute. I asked him to say a few words and he was gracious enough to go on the spot. It’s amazing to see how many lives he impacted with his strong moral character and work ethic. I asked everyone to bring their coupons, but in true Noonan fashion, we didn’t even use them. I also had to scrap the ‘Roxeanne burpees’ he loved, maybe next time. I feel very lucky to have gotten to know him and can only hope he is still tucking in heaven.
