Introduction
Sosa, Dish, Wolverine, Double Dragon, Bam Bam, Skittles – all were present but unable to locate in the search.
Couldn’t ask for a better day along the river. Perfect sky, perfect temp … and not a gnat to be found.

The Thang
Broke into 2 groups with Pork Rinds taking the lead on group #1
Started at the Village Grind parking lot and mosey’d to the street and around to catch the path. Headed down to Hudson Park, then around, back North to the beautiful memorial (by route of the bridge) Oswego Park District put together (if you haven’t been down there, it’s worth the trip), then around the memorial, back across the bridge and back to the flags. Oh yea … we did a few exercises during our journey.

We ended with a bear crawl race between team 1 and team 2 (roughly 35-40 yards). Team one had the fastest crawler (way to go Double Dragon) and team 2 had all HIMs in first. Everybody’s a winner!

It turned out to be a great morning because of great weather, great scenery and a great turnout.
We shared a quick reminder about the importance of the HC to help the Q as he prepares the workout. While it might help logistically, it’s more important that men show up. If you know you can make it, HC. If you’re unsure or don’t want to commit, so be it. But show up if you can regardless … it will turn out fine.
