Introduction

We owe this entire workout to Nala for playing a song called Breaking The Law during his workout yesterday. Somebody, not naming names cou_Sweet Gerkins_gh, started in on Beavis and Butthead quotes. Those of us old enough to know immediately joined in. Big Rig looked totally confused by what all the old guys where jabbering on about. He might have been thinking we were all having a shared stroke or something. From there my Q was basically ordained by the F3 gods.

  • Walking Calf Stretch – really more of a slow lunge

On the way I explained the above and about what todays workout would entail. Ebenezer IMMEDIATLY started in with  “I am the Great Cornholio”

The Thang

5:20– Thang 1 – Frog Hop Baseball (Is the title of the first B&B Eposode)

Seven of Diamonds – frog hop base to base (lunge walk for modify)

7 – Clerkins

14 – Cornholios – Lunge with hands and shirt in Cornholio position

21 – Breaking The Laws – Reverse Crunch doing either Beavis or Butthead Hand gestures

28 – Beavis Dances (monkey humpers butt moves clockwise not just up and down)

 

5:43 – Mosey to the Hill

 

5:46 – Belching (not only a B&B favorite but also in the exicon, modified for extra arm work )

Plank in a line, Q says go. 

Hop up, and sprint 10 strides up the hill, then dive back to plank, hold plank until Q says go

  • 2 reps

  • crawl-bear back down about half way
  • 2 reps (to top)
  • 8 merkins
  • 8 merkins

As we celebrate this long weekend keep in mind the reason for the celebration. Those who died for our freedom. I have had several conversations over the last week around person choice, free will and the freedom to choose. Be it choosing to wear a mask, get vaccinated, or even get out in the gloom for a workout you have that freedom.

So this weekend take a minute to stop and say a prayer for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And if you come across a Veteran, thank them as well for their service.

Naked Man Moleskin

This workout was a hoot to prepare and I even made a last minute adjustment based off inspiration from Mumblechatter on slack. The execution was a little rough as some of the exercises were clumsy but the burn was definitely there and the guys seemed to enjoy it.
