August 28th, 6:30-7:30, Iron Lion Run BIKE Club   🚴♂️ 🚴♂️
You read that right. Tomorrow at 6:30 we will be switching it up this week and logging some miles on the bike.
Sun Devil brought back the run section of the Inaugural Iron Lion Sprint Triathlon presented by @Riunite last week and this week I’ll be bringing back the bike. So if you missed out on the real deal come try out the syndicated version.
This is not an out and back but a loop course that has just the right amount of hills. You will be challenged. I’ll post the course in the thread.

Talked about taking ownership of your own learning.
At work we are looking at bringing in a few people and I’ve been thinking about the last couple years of new employees and what worked and didn’t work with them. One of the recurring themes was that the employees that took ownership over their own development were easier to work with and were more successful personally and professionally. The ones that seemed to always wait to be told what they needed to know and how to learn it struggled in all areas.
This can also apply to our personal lives. It’s so easy to learn anything now a days. All you need discipline and effort to start.

I really enjoy smaller group Q’s. It’s a totally different vibe than the bigger groups.
It was awesome to meet Spirit and Crash. Bold solid PAX. Look forward to posting with you guys some more.

Mr. Nice Guy on the 6 is always amazing to be around. An amazingly positive person. And silently puts in a ton of work. He crushed this course on a fixed gear bike.
