Introduction

I’ve been due to Q BD so I thought I’d step it up and put on on at IL.

Warm-O-Rama

We hit the ground running and moseyed from the flags to the Benet track. We made a few stops along the way to do some tappy taps, imperial walkers and Finkle swings. We loosened up the legs during the mosey with high knees and butt kickers.

The Thang

Thang one: Run a mile as fast as you can.

Indian run to the ski hill for Thang 2.

Thang 2: Ski hill ladder

Starting at the bottom of the hill we ran up to the first light post OYO then held plank for 6. At the first post we did 25 merkins on my down.

Run to the bottom of the hill and up to the second light post.

Hold plank for 6 and do 25 merkins and 25 heel taps in cadence.

Run to the bottom of the hill and up to the 3rd light post.

Hold plank for 6 and do 25 merkins and 25 heel taps in cadence and 25 Carolina Dry Docks on my down.

Run to the bottom of the hill and up to the 4th light post.

Hold plank for 6 and do 25 merkins and 25 heel taps in cadence and 25 Carolina Dry Docks on my down and 50 LBCs together.

We were almost out of time so we ran down to the middle of the hill and Bernie Sanders’ up to the top.

Indian run back to the flags, 1 minute of American Hammers and 1 minute to stretch OYO.

Circle of Trust

Shout out to all the men of F3 Naperville. Ive been in F3 for almost 3 years and after this summer I was in a rut when it came to F3.  I started making excuses not to post and became selective of where I would go. I loved F3 when I started, every morning I would wake up like it was Christmas. I was excited to see what kind of workout I was in store for and I looked forward to seeing my new friends in the gloom. In time the excitement faded and I started to get a negative attitude. I wasn’t trying as hard and felt like I wasn’t getting as good of a workout like I used to. I didn’t really want to wake up at 4:30 each morning for easy. Fast forward, one night I was talking to Gordons after tennis and explained how I felt. He gave me a simple effective answer. He told me to just start coming to black diamonds more.  So I did and I feel like my attitude is similar to that of when I started. This wasn’t the only time someone helped me move forward while I was “kicking and screaming” and I’d like to thank everyone for that. The attitude and brotherhood of F3 Naperville is contagious and I am very lucky to be a part of it.
