Circle of Trust

This past weekend I attended a silent retreat. Simplifying the retreat, the focus was on seeing God’s graces in all the small ways each and everyday. The grace to get out bed push through a BD, to be health enough to exercise, the grace to spend time with our brothers, to enjoy the beautiful community we live in.

During the retreat a story was shared by the priest that went like this, “walking through a field I watched a blue flower bloom and decided to pick it. No one else was around to see this, being that I picked I knew no one else would ever see this. Then I thought to myself, did God really put that blue flower there just for me to enjoy? Well why not? What’s so wrong with thinking that way? Why can’t it be that simple. That joy was meant for me. Thank you”

YHC encouraged the pax to give thanks for all the Graces we receive.

Prayers offered for Shells and Cheese dad who needs surgery and all those struggling with Covid impacting their family time.

Closed COT with a prayer by St Ignatius titled Prayer for Generosity:

Dear Lord,

teach me to be generous.

Teach me to serve You as You deserve;

To give and not to count the cost;

To fight and not heed the wounds;

To toil and not to seek for rest;

To labor and not to ask reward,

Save that of knowing that I do Your will. Amen

Naked Man Moleskin

YHC completed 100 posts, my goal with this Q was to pull some of the most challenging exercises from those together for one big crap fest. Kept the preblast vague, didn’t want to get called out by Serena for spilling the beans. Even kept ole Site Q in the dark. I was warned about slippery conditions, decided to modify the path for Prisoner runs, otherwise worked as planned.

Few Shout Outs for the inspiration:

Baby Hands for the Bitchs & stair runs

Smokey for the water run’s and the hanging leg raises

Harbaugh for the prisoner run and gorilla walks

Serna & Curds for the parking garage run/PT

I had a few more in the bag from Augustus Gloop and Blues Clues that we ran out of time for. Next time.

Great energy and push by all the Pax this morning. Way to embrace the suck. Until next time
