Introduction

Preblast  ⬛💎 VQ – Thursday 11/18/2021

5:00 AM sharp.

Special location: May watts elementary school.

800 S Whispering Hills Dr, Naperville, IL 60540.

GrowRuck inspired workout. We gonna be under the weight for an hour. Rucksack with the weight or vest is required for this work out. We will be doing series of exercises on the hill and trails. No water emerging (as much as I wanted 😊).

We live in society where mediocrity is often rewarded. Mental toughness is only available for those who challenge the status quo and push themselves in the place where you have never been before and overcome challenges. Let’s get after it and detest mediocrity.

Circle of Trust

Coming back from grow ruck I was thinking about what insights and take aways I had. Here are 3 that had biggest impact.

  1. Everybody can deliver and perform when it’s comfortable and conditions are great but in high stress environment with low visibility, when you tired – that’s the biggest question. Can you react fast enough, perform, suffer through and deliver ? You most likely never can do that unless you put yourself through these moments and push yourself into that environment.
  2. Never thought about of F3 as mechanism for creating and growing leaders. Peer led workout in rotation fashion – that’s great mechanism. A guy that never led anybody in his life become a leader for the first time he takes on Q. And he will never be the same person from that day on.
  3. Good leader must be brave and vulnerable. When you first come out you are the 6,  You are on the ground and somebody reaches out to you with the hand. Next month May be you the guy who give a hand to somebody who is on the ground on his back . And I will be on the ground again in the future. Love and vulnerability create a great leader but also create environment for leaders to come of their egg shelf.

Naked Man Moleskin

Coming from GrowRuck and having a lot of inspiration I thought about putting GTE BC style on the guys, but wasn’t sure if PAX attendance would be as strong giving a fact that a lot of them never did rucking before. But was impressed by number of people. Great push by everybody, @Blinky – some serious crazy weight that day, 50# vest & 80# sandbag.  COT on top of the hill with view on the lake and sun coming up.  Great morning over all. Coffee tasted amazing afterwards.
