Introduction

Caddy races were a very fun part of the Waste Management Phoenix Open on the famous 16th stadium hole.  After the pros teed off, the caddies would race to the green and that is what inspired the workout.

Warm-O-Rama

Started with some light stretching and then got to work.

The Thang

We ran the front nine of the Frisbee golf course with a cinder block on our shoulders.  At each hole, we did the following exercises which corresponded with the hole:

1 Squats

2 shoulder raises with cinder block

3 Lunges

4 Upright row w cinder block

5 Jumping jacks

6 Curls w cinder block

7 Pull ups at tree or merkins

8 Oh press w cinder block

9 Bench with cinder block

At the turn, we ditched our cinder block.

Then we ran the back nine which has a lot of elevation.  We waited at each hole for everyone to finish by doing merkins, planks or big boy sit-ups.

Then we did two rounds of running to the top of the hill and doing bear crawls on the way down.

We finished Mary with 3 rounds of American hammers, Planks, and Big boy sit ups for 1 minute each.

Circle of Trust

Led a prayer for Great Clips wife’s uncle who passed away.  He was on top of his game as a lawyer and very successful but wasn’t the greatest husband or father.  He passed away alone and without strong family ties.  As the sun rose on top of the reservoir in Palatine, we discussed how personal disagreements are trivial, the importance of forgiveness and that we are all human.  However, what we do at F3 helps us become better husbands, better sons, better dads and better men.

Naked Man Moleskin

Lots of discussion about Fathom starting his own coffee business since he has been brewing coffee for everyone for coffeerama.  Good chatter all the way around and looks like we will start adding Mondays to the schedule.
