Introduction

4:45am – My VQ was a little nerve wracking, but that’s usually a good thing.  I showed up early with some chalk in hand to write down the exercises in the church parking lot to avoid forgetting what I had planned so diligently the Friday prior.  Drove the parking lot in my car because — well, it was cold and I wasn’t quite ready to endure the frigid air quite yet!

5:05am – PAX start showing up.  That’s always a good sign.

Good morning!

I am not a professional, nor do I know of any of your injuries you may have.  If you do have any injuries, please modify as necessary.

Circle of Trust

Announcements, Name-a-rama

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

251 represents the number of Officers killed in the line of duty in 2020.  Nine of those were from right here in Illinois.  As a former law enforcement officer, I wanted my VQ to bring attention to those who represent the thin blue line and put their lives on the line for us daily.  I miss the camaraderie I had with my coworkers as an officer and I had been missing that with my new career.  Thanks to the HIMs of F3 Napervile, I’ve found that camaraderie.

We prayed for:

  • My M’s aunt, Terry, who is in the hospital with multiple medical issues.

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to all the PAX who came out for my VQ and made it memorable in the cold weather.  Looking forward to leading many more.
