Simple words this morning. Keep going. Don’t give up. Whatever it is right now, where ever you are, no matter what’s going well or not, just keep going. The minute we falter, the minute we give in, the second we consider the easy alternative is the beginning of the slippery slope. Even if circumstances out of our control attempt to slow us, to beat us down, to give us legitimate, understandable, and reasonable excuses to pause, don’t be disheartened or tempted. Stay the course.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
We have a saying here in F3: It’s Always A Race. It can help spur competition, motivate a man to one more merkin. But it’s applicable in life. And it’s not specifically about winning. It’s about NOT GIVING UP. You don’t give up in a race. You finish it.
Finish what you’ve started men. Keep going. Don’t give up.
