Introduction

It was once said that the sun only rises at 2 Wolves.  Join me tomorrow to see if that’s true.  Running will be somewhat limited for those that need the recovery (smily), but we will be staying together doing a variety of coupon and body weight work – to include some 4 corners and fire to keep us warm (blink smily).

HC below, let’s get the weekend started right in 2 Wolves style.

Man was it windy and cold out there.  It’s a different kind of wind out there at Two Wolves.  Had to relocate flags so they would stay in the ground, credit Snoop with that idea.  We did have 5 diff flags there, so that was cool.  Got there early to set up lighted cones, and it was definitely a challenge keeping them from flying away.  I got so distracted that I left my car running…thankfully site Q HIM One Eye Willy notified me of this soon after we began the workout, and he even stepped in to run the show for a couple min while I attended to my car.

PAX started rolling in, it was a good showing given the conditions.  It was dark in the parking lot, but a great opportunity to getting used to operating in the dark.

5:15, go time!

Circle of Trust

With this being the holiday season, while it can be stressful at times, it is mostly a pretty joyous time for us that are fortunate to have family/friends/PAX to share it with.  However, there are a good amount of people out there that aren’t as fortunate and for them this can be a tougher time of the year.  So wanted to emphasize that this time of the year when we are out in the public and interacting with others make sure to give a little extra effort to give back and show an act of kindness, because you never know if that one person you give a kind gesture too is someone who is having a tough time of year.  Those small gestures can have a big impact.  Continue to be HIM’s out there, but make sure to give back even a little more this time of year.

Naked Man Moleskin

It’s kind of amazing how the energy of the group and the workout can make you become desensitized to the cold conditions, and then when you stop at the end it hits you.  Awesome to see a pretty good turnout in spite of the conditions.  These men could be at home sleeping in a warm bed, but they instead decided to come to the workout and get uncomfortable and stronger and support each other out there.  I am reminded of the high quality character of the men out here at each workout, but especially on days like this.  Thanks again to One Eye Willy for covering the 6 in HIM style.
