Introduction

I don’t think I’ve been to the Bear when it’s light out and good thing cause, does a Bear S#*t in the woods?

What? Never mind.

I rolled up early for a quick scout, got some of the weight out my car and soon PAX arrived, a few with vests, Notably Shoeless who has the best vest around. Same as mine.

With a couple minutes left before 5:15am I reminded the PAX that a BigBoy coupon is 12x8x16, nothing smaller…

The Thang

 

We split in 2 lines and mosey’d out to the middle pavilion at the Bear. Along the way we stopped with our coupons and did some Goblet Squats.

Thang #1 Triangle Offense

We set up 3 cones with the follow exercises. Split into two teams. This was a race for about 20 minutes straight.

  1. Cone #1 Get Swole Coupon Work – O.C.A.L.S “Cal Ripken Iron Horse”
    • 20 OH Press
    • 20 Curls
    • 20 Antonio Browns
    • 20 Lawnmowers
    • 20 Skull Crushers
      • Run to next cone
  2. Cone #2
    • 10 Hydraulics
      • Run to next cone
  3. Cone #3
    • 10 Hand Release Merkins
      • Run to 1st cone. Rinse and Repeat for 20 minutes. Most PAX got at least 3 rounds in, over 300 reps

Mosey back to flags, we did some blockees along the way.

Thang #2 Get More Swole 

  1. Depth Charges
    • 3×25 with 10 second delay
  2. Isolators
    • 14 PAX in circle mixed OYO Curls, Bent Over Rows, OH Press while 1 PAX came to middle and with straight bar + 2 regular coupons did 3-5 Curls or 7-10 Shrugs.

 

Circle of Trust

Swole can be defined as “A paragon of hypermasculinity, manifesting in the physical and attitudinal embodiment of strength, occupying space with intimidating quantity and developing rippling musculature through rigorous, disciplined exercise.”

I love this definition because it can not only apply to the physicality of the first F and “Fitness”…it can also apply to our 2nd F in “Fellowship” and our 3rd F in “Faith” and so much more in life…

There is an attitudinal strength in “Getting Swole” and the possible positive outcomes from it’s “discipline”.

So, I leave you with this today boys. Continue to push yourselves in all areas of life, all 3 F’s and continue to “Get Swole”.
