Circle of Trust

Today was all about the gifts. Couple weeks ago in my COT I talked about year end assessments and how I do it for work but not personally.

To tie it in to today,

I realized how many gifts I received this year. F3 for one that has helped me get more healthy. And has allowed me to meet so many great guys.

My wife and my boys. Their health and happiness has been the best gift.

I’ve been gifted a job that has been relatively unaffected by COVID (so far) and has allowed me to provide for my family and buy too much gear.

But I also realized I’ve been like I was as a kid, playing with the big gifts like the Nintendo I got but ignoring the other things I have also been gifted. Like the socks and ties and books, those gifts I’ve been unappreciative of. My parents for one. My siblings. My friends from back in MN. While I don’t see them as much and they may not be them most important thing in this stage of my life, they are still a gift and important to me and I need to be better at letting them know that.

Challenge you to look for your socks, the gifts you may take a bit for granted, and find a way to appreciate it.

Naked Man Moleskin

Forgot the disclaimer and Brick kindly reminded me as we ran our warm up lap.

When Lawnmower says he’s coming in hot he means it!!
