Top-to-Bottom Stretch Routine!

Circle of Trust

Semper Gumby (Always Flexible)

Due to conditions we had to improvise the route.

Rainman, during run, also discussed how kids are flexible, effortless on form, and try anything; however, as we age, we get rigid.  Perfect tie-in …

Takeaway: stay flexible in life.  Both physical flexibility – stretching critical as we age and as we exercise – and also mental flexibility – don’t foreclose possibilities.  I previously thought I’m not a runner, I’m not an artist, and I’m not a musician.  I flipped the mindset: now I can run a reasonable distance (improving measurably over time), I paint coupons (skill level rising over past year) and I started learning bass guitar (coming along quite well too).  Can’t never did a thing ~ don’t say “can’t” and simply try!

Naked Man Moleskin

0605 – Seadoo did an EC ruck, with YHC and Cousin Eddie, and rocked out a baby carrier with a coupon (coolest thing I’ve seen)

Really cohesive crew this morning.  Seadoo and Sulley can really move, these gazelles gonna be Qing an RC soon …  Always great to see Buttermaker ITG.  Jealous of Patchouli’s beard since I just gave into family-pressure and shaved mine.  Chatter with House Arrest is always a good time (dude’s like that guy you just really dig talking to ~ and then you realize you’re running … makes the running tolerable).  Then there’s the IronLions, Rainman and Cousin Eddie, that have been there from the beginning and have really driven this AO over past 18 months to a place with 6 workouts / week and a great number of PAX.  Thanks for letting me ride along.

Apologies to Buttermaker for “ruining” another song by linking it to a brutal ab workout.  Glad we got the stretch in today.
