Circle of Trust

My daughter had an event with her AAU program on Tuesday. They recognized 31 athletes (male and female) who will be playing basketball in college. During the ceremony the Director mentioned a few things that stuck out to him while watching these kids grow and blossom into the young adults they have become. How polite they always were.  How respectful.  How driven.  And how smart … the average GPA for the 31 youngsters was 4.0.  Wow.
My point was and is … it takes a village. I promise you, my wife and I don’t have all the answers.  None of the other parents of kids out there do either.  None of you do.  Nobody does.  Kids learn from their parents and every other person and situation they run into.  They are always looking, listening and learning. If they are surrounded by positive influences, have love and support, feel valued and cared for … they have a shot.  My challenge to everyone is to be that positive example.  They are always looking, listening and learning.  What do you want them to learn from you?

Bob Ross led prayer.

Naked Man Moleskin

The Mammoth has been struggling with attendance so I was excited we had double-digits. This is a fantastic AO with all the bells and whistles you could want. It’s time more people recognized and popped in on a Thursday here and there.  We welcome you all.
