Introduction

Unity U – Introduced this route to go along with my CoT theme of Unity.

Warm-O-Rama

Started with 15 tappy taps, followed by motivators from 7, then 2 minutes of stretching OYO.

The Thang

Pax head north through lot X to the pedestrian bridge and continue north up the river from the bridge to a turn around point where the trail meets River Street. Back south to the pedestrian bridge and across to head north again to the north end of RiverEdge Park. Turn around again, back south to the pedestrian bridge across to turn north. Repeat until heading to the flags at 5:55. Once back at the flags, we held Air Squat until the 6 was in. 10 count Mountain Climber Stretches on each side, then 10 Abe Vigodas got us to 6:00. Recover, Recover!

Circle of Trust

My CoT focused on Unity and what that provides us with. This was based on the past few weeks of sermons at my church. Unity – working together – is what makes us all stronger. A single pencil is easy to break, but a bunch of pencils cannot be easily broken. This ties in so well with F3 and particularly with the shield lock concept. Prayer requests for relatives and PAX and a general reminder to be thankful for all we have and get to do.

Naked Man Moleskin

Thoroughly enjoyed my VQ and the PAX liked the new route. Used the shape of the letter U to tie in with the Unity CoT and it also kept us close to the flags. Much like La Serpiente, the route provided plenty of opportunities to encourage and be encouraged as we traced the route back and forth.
