Circle of Trust

Peter Drucker, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure.” The reason I asked you to have Strava/similar app/device is to measure your run. You can track distance, you can track time, you can track pace, you can even track how you are feeling each time you run…but in order to improve, you need to keep a focus on a discernible metric. Same thing goes for weight; I step on the scale every day so I know if I am making progress or if I need to make adjustments. Think about what things you need to measure in your life….

Similar to many COT’s that I have been doing lately, I opened up the time for anyone in the group to share any thoughts over the weekend. It got deep very fast and I am thankful for those who had the courage to share in our circle of trust. I don’t want to break the circle of trust but airing everything that was said here, but I want to encourage everyone who is reading this to take a few minutes to ask the question, “how are you doing, really?” and focus your attention and listen to the other person’s voice/soul. We are brothers out in the gloom and we are facing battles every day. We stand strongest when we stand together, and leave no man behind.

TAPs for everyone still effected/impacted by 9/11, for Clearcoat and his M, for Glenn and his M, for Blues Clues and their family, for Bearing’s grandfather and their family, for Forest Gump.

Naked Man Moleskin

Really like this route…it seems long enough to challenge the guys that want 2 laps, but there is an option for the middle distance runners, as well as the clydesdales.

@Roadtrip pulled his HC, but dude straight put in the work over the weekend (20 m run and 50 m bike.) I know he would have been here if he could have.
