The Thang

Main Thang!

Dilly Dilly lead a conductor style workout a few months back during one of the first live virtual posts. I thought it was really creative and a slight change of pace, so with some modifications, I explained the process to our group of PAX and we were off!

PAX took turns being the ‘conductor’. I called out the conductor for each round and then the other PAX performed the designated exercise for that round. After the conductor finished his reps, we all ran out 100 yards, performed 15 plank jacks, then ran 100 yards back to base. SSH for the 6.

Conductor does 15 Blockees

Rest of the PAX started at exercise 1 for the first round. Then a new conductor was called out for round 2, and so on…

Circle of Trust

After CoR and Announcements, I got to name my first FNG. Welcome Buggs Bunny.

A read a quote from Oscar Wilde:

“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.”

This is somewhat of a fancier version of thinking of the glass half empty or half full except to me there is a key difference. “We are all in the gutter” kind of acknowledges that we are all in somewhat of a bad situation in life. Everyone has some sort of demon or battles they are facing as individuals. As a collective group and in our current state of affairs, we are all dealing with this virus and any restrictions/limitations it has placed on us. It is a cruddy situation. We can all acknowledge that. That being said, we can choose to “look at the stars”. Look at the silver linings or the positive things amidst all of the bad. We all have choices that we make in the mornings. Many of us are out in person at the AO’s to start your morning. That is great. Some of us are here on Virtuosity for a variety of reasons. Whether it be location, the virus, job situation…whatever it is…we are making the most of it. Is it an ideal situation we are in? No. But are we choosing to still start our day off right and get our minds and bodies right? Yes. And for that, I thank all of you PAX that continue to show up and bust your bodies to keep getting better.

We prayed.

Naked Man Moleskin

This was my first time I had an FNG. You definitely get put on the spot a little bit with trying to come up with a name. I think we picked a pretty good one though based on the back story! I will admit though…I cannot remember if we finally decided on Bugs or Buggs Bunny…but either way Welcome!

Also, another note that Backstage has a very strong EH game!

The Q sheet for Virtuosity is started to get more and more populated. PAX are really starting to step up and sign up to Q. Leaders are emerging! Lets go!

Till next time!
