I shared with the PAX a few historical events that took place today…the birth of the Marine Core in 1775, Knute Rockne’s Notre Dame speech to win one for the gipper in 1928 and Jim Henson, who debuted Sesame Street on this day in 1968.
None of these events have anything in common EXCEPT…they made history. And they made history because they did something different, they did something inspiration, and they saw it through.
And that’s the COT message for today…don’t be afraid.
It’s ok to disrupt and do different things. Even if you fail. You learn.
Don’t be afraid to try different exercises like we did today. Most of us have never done a HRPCMB or a Helicopter or a Hatching Butterfly but today…we made history by just doing it.
The goal here is to continue to improve and get better. Keep that 43ft ahead gentlemen. Thank you.
