Run Club
It’s 10,000 BC and our tribe has moved to a new territory. We are hungry…for mammoth 🦣 and for acceleration of all 3 F’s.
We have lost our spears and are going to have to rely on our oldest form of hunting: persistence running.

The Thang
The Hunt:
Hunting trail: loop around zoo on road to Mammoth 🦣 1, take path to flags, cross street, mammoth lake path to bridge to Mammoth 🦣 2.
Separate into 3 hunting parties. Group 1 (under 8 min mile): handicapped for speed; every mammoth 🦣 touched counts as 0.5 kills
Group 2 (8-10 min mile): Each mammoth 🦣 touched counts as 1 kill
Group 3 (slowezy squad): Same rules as group 2, but can take shortcut trail behind first mammoth 🦣.
Circle of Trust
Sweeney Todd is the greatest hunter and registered 10 kills.
A few key points from the hunt:
1) No one can kill a mammoth alone. The people who chose to run alone would have died alone. It takes a tribe to bring down a mammoth 🦣
2) 3 wolves 🐺 at zoo watched us on each lap. Remember that even if you are the hunter, you are always being hunted. This is also why you need a tribe for protection.
3) Slowezy squad did 4.5 miles. One thing the front runners who never get tired may have forgotten is that it is always easier to run in a pack, and you also will always go farther together.
