Introduction
Showed up early to set up in the field. Parked next to Toby’s SUV and thought he was still out rucking. I went to my trunk and he scared the crap of me.
Warm-O-Rama
Mosey around the parking lot including high knees, butt kicks, karoke both directions, shuffle both directions
Good mornings – 10 IC
Imperial walkers – 10 IC
Grady Corns – 10 IC
The Thang
Mosey to west side of hill with coupon. Drop off coupon and mosey to the west side of the football field.
Thang 1
“1st and 10”
Partner up and stay together the entire time. 100 yard field marked at 10 yard increments with cones. Start at end zone, run to 10 yard line, perform 10 merkins and 1 burpee, sprint 90 yards to the last cone. Recovery mosey back to the 20 yard line, perform 9 merkins and 2 burpees, sprint 80 yards to the last cone. Recovery mosey back to 30 yard line, perform 8 merkins and 3 burpees, sprint 70 yards to last cone. Continue until you get to the last cone. Once finished go back and pick up the 6.

P1 performs coupon exercises, P2 runs the hill and completes 10 SSH’s at top, run down and switch

Played a audio clip about a farmer named Earl who died and went to heaven. St Peter showed him his farm in heaven it was super advanced. Planting done by hovercraft, pests killed by an environmentally friendly lasers, and it was all run from an air conditioned office. Earl was not comfortable with this and asked if there was another option. Saint Peter then took him down an elevator to hell where it was of course hot and uncomfortable. He then showed Earl his farm which had a beat up tractor. Earl got on that tractor and he was at home for the rest of eternity. Clearly Earl was not willing to change and get out of his comfort zone.
The question for all of us is what area in your life are you stagnant and overly comfortable? Is it your job? Is it your marriage? Is it your health? Only you can answer that question. I challenge each of you to do some self-reflection today on what areas in your life you’d rather live in hell with Earl than make a change.
