Warm-O-Rama

No warm-o-rama. War doesn’t wait for you to warm up.

Split into 2 teams: Team Sword and Team Shield.

Let’s go!

The Thang

Thang #1

  1. 7’s at the hill (BBSU at base, army crawl to top, burpees, mosey down); race between Team Sword and Team Shield.

Thang #2

1. War balloons:  Team Sword lines up 50 yds across from Team Shield. On go, each PAX runs 3 steps then kneels for 2 seconds, repeato to other side. In the middle are 2 PAX with water balloons.  Running PAX are safe when down on the knee, and able to be targeted when on the move. If hit with a balloon, lunges to the other side. Rinse & repeat 7x until all PAX have had opportunities to launch the refillable water balloons.

Thang #3

Circle of Trust

If you want peace, prepare for war. This saying has been around for 2 millennia.

Spartans were always prepared for war, training day and night. As a consequence, few wanted to challenge them. When they did go to war, because of their preparation, the battles were quicker than they otherwise might have been. In this way, their fierce reputation and war effectiveness led to peace.

If you want peace of mind, you need to prepare yourself for war, prepare for the obstacles that you will face on a daily basis. Don’t accept easy.

I enjoyed my recent vacation and was able to relax for a few days….but then I started to get that itch…to get back on the horse and keep accelerating. That’s when I have peace of mind…when I continue going to war with myself to become battle hardened. Stay on the warpath!

I’ll end with my favorite MJ quote from “The Last Dance”:

“The most fundamental aspect of life….you do it at the highest level and you do it to win all the time!”

Naked Man Moleskin

Aladdin came in hot….we were able to cool him off though with a few water balloons.

Solid group of PAX this morning and looking forward to the new leaders that will be stepping up for Q’s. There was a lot of cadence practice during 4 Corners.
