Introduction

Did about 15-20 minutes prep the night before. My 2.0 helped me measure and cut a 75′ length of string and I watched the IPC video to have a keen sense of the exercises and proper form so I can proctor perfectly

Arrived 15 minutes early. Quickly set up cones and flag and speaker for music and countdown timer. I was met by SiteQ, 1st F Q and Upchuck and several other PAX eager to help. After cones were set, PAX began WoR OYO as 1st F Q and I explained and demonstrated the Wheel of Misfortune IPC Week 2

Started… 5:16
Ended… 5:59

After getting countdown clock going, starting music and getting initial thrusters out of the way, most PAX were just finishing the 400m run.
As proctor, I was keeping a close eye on form and barking at the PAX. After round one, I had just started to catch up to the middle of the pack, I hear a coupon hit the ground and quickly after that, Bone Spur mumble some sweet nothings (not). I hear “anyone have an xtra coupon?” I run to my car and open the trunk thinking I had an xtra one but then I recall I had given it to an FNG on Wednesday. I gave Bone Spur my coupon and instantly became Coach Pi, running and barking at Blow Out and Disco Ball who had broken from the pack and were out in front. The third round was grueling but everyone was in and pushing hard. I was continuously pushing Blowout and Disc Ball hard to finish three compete rounds, which they did.

Prayer

This morning, rather than my routine prayer I usually do, I’d like a moment of silence to remember and never forget 9/11/2001. Please bow your heads. <45 seconds>. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen

Tribute to 9/11/01
Men, today marks a tragic day in our country’s history. As a nation we weren’t defeated. Just like the hard work this morning and the push to the
end. Our country came together, everyone as one, strong and we bounced back. There were no fingers being pointed at each other, there was no politics, there was only love for our country, for our first responders. As a country we all got right! Let us remember this today as we head back home, go to work and return to our community. Look for the things we can change to get right. What is something we can do at home, that one little thing extra to make it better and more right? Take charge at work and in your community. What is that one thing, that one small extra gesture you can do to make it right? Let’s do this! AYE!?!
