Prayer

Thank you for the strength to wake up and get here this morning, the strength to lead these men at the grand opening of this new AO. We pray for the strength to get through these uncertain times and for the educators who have an impossible task with e-learning. We pray for those suffering from illnesses, especially Mr. Miyagi, Anna Caroline, Jacqueline Tulley, Randy Levine, Jeremy Baker who are battling cancer. In Jesus’s name we pray

Naked Man Moleskin

After Doubtfire left, I set a goal to uphold his strength of a siteQ and fill the void he left by Q’ing whenever I had a chance. Today was my 85th Q and I hope I’ve lived up to the Doubtfire legend.
After accomplishing the opening of The Ridge and planting the seeds,
Tourniquet exploded the recruiting and growth. The next challenge was to find another AO spread our reach. We went outside the box a little bit just like working out during the SIP and shutdown of AOs and started looking at parks a little further south and toward downtown Plainfield. I suggested to a few of the brothers in our B³ underground that we look at Settler’s Park. After a few workouts, and some loose chatter it was time to approach LT at Naperville about adding another AO. I messaged 1st F Q Shandy and he said he would present it at the next LT meeting. After the meeting the next day, I messaged Shandy and he said it went well and RC would be in touch. The following week after I Q’d at Citadel, RC and I talked and after discussing the new AO, he said I was thinking too small and we should open a new Region. After a little persuasion, RC convinced me and it was part of my long term goal of opening a Joliet Region. After our meeting, no hard picked the current LT and set up a private chat. At first, half the LT had reservations about splitting from Naperville. We had RC come down to a coffeteeria and explain everything here explained to me. The lightbulbs went off and Crossroads was born. As our numbers were steadily rising and approaching 40 PAX a day not was a no brainier to open the Wood since we had already vetted the AO during SIP. I’ve recruited over 30 PAX and will continue to grow the south AOs and eventually look for another AO down here.

It started with a small thought to get back in shape. To get right and now it’s a mission, to give back and find as many men as I can to help them find their F³ journey. Thank you! 👊
