Introduction

🗣️Pre-Blast  Black Diamond Run Club  at COMPLEX – 5:00 – 3/23/22

🚨🚨BDVQ🚨🚨

Calling badasses of all paces.  YHC has often been the BDRC 6; come to be inspired and pushed with me.

Get ready for a team competition to find out who’s the baddest Black Diamond crew of them all.

🌧️ and 49 degrees, you’re not showing up for easy, are you… this is a Black freaking Diamond!  Stretch and warmup ahead of time, we’re going to get the paperwork out of the way and roll.

Headlamp and watches encouraged.
Shoes for damp conditions, obvis.

HC with your best 10k or mile pace.

Warm-O-Rama

Asked PAX to warm up and stretch before 5:00.  Several were moseying around the parking lot.

The Thang

Thang 1: Indian Run around the baseball fields for about 1/2 mile.

Thang 2:  Pax were split into 3 teams based on their provided best 10k mile paces in the preblast.  Earlier, I had placed 3 buckets with different blocks in each of them representing different available points.  3 out and back routes were proposed for those points: 2 miles to the Knock Knolls Bridge (2 points), 3 miles out to Knock Knolls road and left to 95th (3 points), and 4 miles out to Knock Knolls Road and to the right to Ring Road (4 points).

Circle of Trust

I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about community lately.  Some being thankful for it and some seeking more community.  Let’s recognize those who may be seeking more community, reach out to them and offer a smile, our time and friendship.

Naked Man Moleskin

HUGE props to my 6 Bush Push.  He helped me vet the whole workout and added critical advice.  Thanks so much man, I really appreciate it.

Weblos and Smooch made it out to their first BDRC and crushed it.  Great push guys and it was great to see you step out of your comfort zone.

I didn’t (and still don’t) feel worthy to lead this group of HIM’s thanks for encouraging me to step out of my own comfort zone to keep coming back and Qing.

Laimbeer thanks for pushing me on our routes, I would have fallen further off the pace if you hadn’t  been in my ear the whole way.

Harbaugh EH’d me into my first BDRC at the end of last year.  Thanks for the push brother.

Appreciate all of the AAR and will be sure to take those to heart next time.

Excellent job team Nosejob, way to crush it out there and take home the trophy.  Did I mention that we had an extra guy?
