Introduction

I had a confession to make. I used our good friend crazy uncle  yesterday morning. Used him how? Well, you can’t celebrate your 200th post without first hitting 199! YHC made a point to get out of his comfort zone to post yesterday so that today could have its appropriate significance. While I may be a little sore from all the KB action, that would not stop me from giving the guys all I had for 45 minutes. I instructed PAX to make sure they got outside, marked out 15 yards AND 100 yards, and to have their coupons available.

CoT

Today was ‘officially’ my 200th post. I had about 15-20 posts early during the pandemic that did not count. That is alright though. The 200th still felt good! Out of my 200 official posts, today was 141 (officially) via Virtuosity! Say what you will about Virtuosity’s place in F3 Naperville, but as far as I am concerned, it has brought me 141 opportunities to get up in the morning and get right with some F3 brothers. It has given me the opportunity to feel a sense of fellowship. It has given me an opportunity to watch other men grow into leaders. It has given me a first row seat into watching F3 Tri-County continue to succeed! All in all, it has been a great year and a half for me and a large part of it is due to F3 Naperville – Virtuosity AO.

When one of my cousins passed away a few weeks ago, it led me to think about my place in this world and why it may be so different than others. We all are born into our lives under different circumstances. How is it that my cousin who was maybe a year or so younger than me passed from a heart attack so young? Meanwhile I am able to continue to live my life with my wonderful family and I am able to continue to wake up early every day and try to make myself better? It is hard to think about this sometimes as you can find yourself really far down into a rabbit whole regarding the meaning of life. However, Ozark’s CoT yesterday really made me think; we are entitled to our actions, but not necessarily the fruits of our labor. All we can do is wake up each day and make the choice to act. The results, consequences, or reactions of those actions are not in our control. I cannot control the circumstances I was born into, nor that of my cousin who passed, but as long as I can control how I start each morning, that is good enough for me. And for me, that starts with posting with you men here on Virtuosity.

Naked Man Moleskin

I really appreciate all of the men that joined this morning to help me celebrate my official 200th post. It meant a lot and I truly have grown to love leading a workout. Especially if I can think of something that is challenging for all PAX while also being creative enough to make the time fly by.

I told the men this morning that I wanted to keep it “F3 Basic”. What I meant by that was that I wanted to do something that made me really get hooked into F3 workouts from the beginning. We did 11’s. We did DORA. We picked each other up.

Also – Brooks is a beast at the Merkins. Backstage is too…but we already knew that.
