Circle of Trust

We often push ourselves to extremes to accomplish certain goals. While this is something I like to do, I’m catching myself pushing myself to TOO much of an extreme at times. This is good. And sometimes not when a hammy pulls, a wrist breaks, etc.

I recently had a set back with some injuries related to some heavy activity at F3 and outside of F3. I had many goals fitness goals and kept adding more and more goals.

I lost focus and got into too much when all I really needed was to stay the course, focus on what was most important, accept my 100% in that direction and…be flexible enough to roll with it all.

One strength I know I have is the ability to be disciplined, to take a consistent linear approach to get a job done or a goal met. I also know this can become a weakness. Know thyself.

Bruce Lee once said, “Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo willow survives by bending with the wind.”

Ah yes, flexibility!

This is something I continue to work on and something I wanted to share with you all here today. Continue to push yourself and each other, at the same time, continue to be flexible with all that comes your way and accept your best effort in all you do.

There is a learned leadership lesson within this that might just propel you 43ft ahead…for a longer period of time.

Prayers.

Naked Man Moleskin

Bruce Lee made most of his well know movies in the 70’s, hence today’s music loaded with Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Santana, The Allman Brothers Band, Lynard Skynard, etc. Huskie with that red bandana, you’d make a great 70’s front man brother!
