Come to The Citadel tomorrow for a BD workout. Gloves, Coupon and Vest required!

Pulled into the church parking lot around 4:35. Saw Serena, Parks and Bedpan getting ready for some EC action. I ran the hill to set up cones and scope out the scene. Was nice and cool, perfect morning for a BD beatdown on the hill!

Circle of Trust

Just coming off a few vacations/work trips, I felt my fitness wasn’t where it usually is. Wasn’t sure I was ready to lead and push other HIM at a BD workout, but thought, since I signed up, I’d better show up and give it all I’ve got!

I’ve always thought it takes courage to step outside of your comfort zone and do something new and different. In F3, that means showing up to your first workout, leading your first workout, pushing further at a BD workout and eventually leading BD workouts. For me, I’m always most nervous leading a black diamond, wondering if I’ll have enough for the badass HIM that show up.

I appreciate everyone for coming out and pushing hard for 60 min. Hope it was enough for you!

Beyond the workout, we all need to take that mindset of courage into our daily lives. We can be courageous in our daily lives in many ways; staying true to ourselves and our commitments, holding ourselves accountable and taking responsibility for our actions and even standing up for someone or something you believe in.  All of these things take courage.  Have courage and be courageous every day!

Naked Man Moleskin

This was my second BD Q. For my first, I planned 3 thangs and ran out of stuff to do so had to improvise on the fly a bit. Don’t think it was very noticeable, but I didn’t want to run into that situation again on the second BD.

I planned 3 longer thangs for this one and we made it through 1 and just barely started the second before it 50 min was up.  Clearly I still need some work on the timing and planning, but I think (hope) everyone had a good beatdown on the hill.

AAR was good to hear. Work still needed on cadence and obviously timing of the workout.

Thanks to all the men that came out!
