The Thang

We ran a 5k from the path in the field to the East…heading East to Plainfield-Naperville Rd and back…

Distance was close to the 3.107 miles of a 5k. Several guys did more, many picked up the six while others who finished early did a combo of merkins, squats, and LBC’s.

This was a first 5k for a number of HIM’s and even better, several set PR’s today. Awesome job men!

Circle of Trust

I recently posted about completing a full marathon…26.2 miles…my 2nd overall…setting a PR by more than 25 minutes. I could NOT have done this without the help of F3.

Whether it’s been EC mornings, doubles on a Saturday, IPC, Grow Rucks, Lincoln Games, etc. We do a lot of what seems to be CSAUP events…but that’s the point.

This is NOT about me. This is about F3. It’s about us. Together. High Impact Men. Together. Being out here in the gloom man…getting bigger, stronger, faster, better…together.

It’s about being vulnerable, opening up, being real, lending a hand or an ear to help a fellow PAX. No matter what. Because we leave no man behind. Just as we did in today’s 5k. Together.

I think of all the sad clowns out there. I was one and still have days maybe when I do NOT feel my best. But I know one thing. Mood follows action.

And I know I can rely on my brothers in F3 to improve my mood. And right now, the mood feels pretty damn good because we’re all out here, just finished a 5k, pushed each other to be bigger, stronger, faster, and better…together.

So set a goal fellas. Distance, speed, weight increase, decreases, etc. Most importantly, don’t make it about you. As with F3, it’s not about you, it’s about us together. And I could NOT think of a better group of guys to go at any goal with than all of you. Thank you.

Prayers…

Naked Man Moleskin

I’ll never forget seeing so many strong finishes yesterday at the finish line. DJ Sump Pump and Small Cakes in particular…The Mullet too…you all went full blown AYG the last tenth of a mile to max your time out. Hell of a job men!
