Been enjoying @Moonlight’s pearls on a string workout style as of late and with the cold weather, wanted to keep PAX on the hop.

Thang #1

  1. Mosey to parking structure, Quarter pounder OYO- Run to 1st light +25 Ranger Merkins; Run back and to 2nd light +50 Air Squats; Run back and to 3rd light +75 Mountain Climbers; Run to 4th light +100 Big Boy Situps; Run back and SSH / Wall Squat hold for 6
  2. Mosey to amphitheater, Rocky Balboa’s 50 / Calf Jumps 10; Rocky Balboa’s 40 / Calf Jumps 10…down to 10/10 OYO; LBC’s for the 6
  3. Mosey to library parking lot, Bear Crawl halfway + Lunge walk halfway (this is a pretty long lot!)
  4. Mosey to bridge, pay the toll by doing 20 pullups or modify to 20 low rows
  5. Mosey to Christmas decorations, Serena side shuffle right around the lights; recover; side shuffle left around Christmas tree. Very festive.
  6. Mosey to lower garage, dynamic skip for height across the garage; 20 Bonny Blairs; 10 vertical jumps
  7. Mosey to base of Rotary Hill, Circle burp
  8. Move midway up hill, sprint  to top+mosey down+10 LBC’s, rinse and repeat…~5 sprints

Circle of Trust

As the start of Thanksgiving week, we all took a moment to pause and silently reflect on the the year we have had…and what things we are grateful for….especially taking into account things that we are grateful for this year that we might have taken for granted in the past. Each PAX then shared the one/two things that were on their hearts and minds….family and health were resounding themes.

We prayed for @Hasselhoff and family, and all who are currently effected by COVID.

We also recognized that while we are all looking forward to the Thanksgiving meal…it’s not what’s on the table that matters so much as who is sitting around it…..and in this strange year those who we wish could be there.

Naked Man Moleskin

AOVQ at DT and first time leading a pearl on a string style workout….glad that I tested it out yesterday and was able to get the timing right and add in a few additional exercises.

My preblast also probably went up too early, and for a while it looked like it was just going to be @Sparky and myself tackling DT together. @Serena, @Bongo, and @Bjorn knocked out some early miles to stretch the legs and warm up with EC. @Nair showed up early and started mumble chatter about Tgiving. Much appreciation to @AFib for having my 6; he picked me up and pushed me almost 3 months ago to the day when I posted as an FNG at DT. @ThumbDrive, thanks for continuing that push as we both get stronger in the gloom; thanks also for bringing @Stucco! Great work today @Stucco, and look forward to posting with you again soon. @Sweeney Todd led from the front on our quarter pounder round; @Townie was knocking out Rocky Balboa’s with the greatest of ease (meant to ask if we passed your office at any point on the journey); @Blow Dry was a beast on bear crawl; @Bongo, were you doing 1-arm pull ups on the bridge?; @AFib liked taking pictures of the Christmas trees; @Sparky touched the parking garage ceiling!; @Bjorn was first back to base for circle burp; @Serena was King of the Hill for sprints; @Radio Flyer finished strong tossing that coupon in the air.

~1,000 kcal burned…save it for Tgiving!!
