Introduction

It was a breezy and cold morning today as we set out on our ruck. Getting out of bed on my own is challenging but, having a brother to the right and left holding me accountable and offering encouragement and fellowship is what keeps me coming out in the gloom.

Warm-O-Rama

No Warm-O-Rama. The PAX were told to stretch and warm-up beforehand so we could get moving right a way. There was a cold breeze so YHC was glad to warm-up and stretch before the ruck.

The Thang

This was primarily an out and back ruck towards the 95th street bridge. About halfway through the workout the PAX were stopped for 25 reps of ruck on merkins, 25 thrusters, and 25 ruck curls. It was a great way to get the blood flowing and get some reps in.

C-Bus, Svengoolie, Lady Bugs, and Magellan pushed the pace and covered almost 3 miles including the PT.

Circle of Trust

Prayers for Hot Box and his recovery.  Prayers for the sudden loss of our F3 brother Cardinal and his family. Prayers for Svengoolie’s friends and their loss.

We come out in the gloom to build our endurance physically and mentally. Thank you Lord for the ability to come out and strengthen our bodies and minds. Help us to be strong leaders in our homes and in our communities.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
