This was the Mr. Hankey VVQ.  First time leading a workout and it is from the middle of a field on a phone in an RV Park in Stoughton, WI.  That is the beauty of virtuosity, we had IL, WI, OH and NY represented!  I stole a lot of material from other HIM’s that have lead me up to this point!

Circle of Trust

Focus on Gratitude.  I initially resented the closing down of AO’s due to Covid-19, and was not feeling much gratitude in the way of gratitude.  I knew my time with F3 in person was already going to be limited due to established plans to journey with my M in an RV to follow her traveling labor nurse contracts as I worked remotely.  I wanted to get as many in person posts at the Citadel as possible before leaving.  Where does gratitude come in?  The East Coast/West Coast records virtual workouts followed by Virtuosity covered my transition from local to remote and now I can continue to participate… and today, even lead a workout!  What I initially resented, the stay at home orders, actually paved the way for me to continue on with my F3 brothers from afar.  This is one small example of how God engineers circumstances, and trials (I did say this is a small example) that will cause us to grow and to seek Him for strength and peace.  The Lord leaves it up to us as to how we react, and whether we grow as a HIM from the opportunity as we grow closer to Him.

It was an interesting challenge to VQ in the virtual gloom.  Communicating is more of a challenge with really just one person able to talk at a time.  It is tougher to gauge where everyone is in the workout scrolling though the video feeds on a phone.  It feels like it requires an extra level of planning to keep it all together.  Fortunately with a great group of PAX, with plenty of experience working around the limitations of the virtual AO it made it easier on me for that VQ.  Looking forward to putting together some future beatdowns!
