Introduction
Siterep: Freaking beautiful gloom this morning. Snow dust on the ground, but quiet, no wind, and cold. A little bit of EC run this morning (YHC, Dilly Dilly, and Milton). I knew going into this it would push some guys. But Run and Guns in the cold are especially awesome. Let’s get to it!

The Thang
Run and Gun: 1.4 mile course around the park, with 11 stops. Each stop perform between 25-35 merkins (dealers choice). Upon reaching next point, hold squat until all in, then perform merkins OYO.
Stop 5 – Hold squat after merkins 30 seconds, then run
Stop 8 – 30 LBCs, then merkins
Stop 10 – 15 Imperial Walkers, 30 LBC’s, then do 10 more merkins than you had been doing
Stop 11 – do 40 merkins
Tclaps to Small Cakes for pushing through – running when you first start F3 ain’t easy (neither is running after lots of drinking the night before)

Christmas time is busy. So much to do – wrapping up year end work, prepping for holidays and trips and family friends visiting. Even 2000 years ago a young lady and her new husband were busy trying to get to Bethlehem – and the town was so busy there was no room in the inn.
We need to remind ourselves to slow down – to take a break. To think in silence. I like to think one of the reasons Joseph and Mary were in the stable is because it gave them a chance to be quiet – no noise save for the animals looking on.
So let’s be quiet for a full 90 seconds – it may feel awkward, it may feel long, but just take 90 seconds to be quiet.
90 seconds might feel long – or not long enough. But let us move into our days looking for a little quiet.
