Introduction

Run Club VQ- not a huge distance runner, so I channeled my inner Mike Singletary and dished out short bursts of sprints with some well-earned rest in between reps. Fought the cold and the Gloom. In the end, F3CrossroadsIL always wins!

Circle of Trust

Singletary noted in practice that young rookies were always over-hyped and lost steam halfway through practice. His focus was the 5-10 seconds of his rep as hard and fast as possible, then rest for the 20-30 seconds in between reps. That was our focus for today- go hard, go fast, enjoy the rest.

Character- “how you act when no one is looking”. F3 brothers are always watching, always critiquing, always pushing PAX to get better. After we go our separate ways after The Gloom, how do we maintain our upstanding Character? When you look at yourself in the mirror at night, are you happy with who you are and how you attacked the day? Let’s continue to push ourselves and build those accountability structures and practices to make our character HABIT!

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to Gopher for having my 6! He was so excited, he was renamed Turtle Head for the amount of time he needed to duck out and take care of business.

YHC had a hammy acting up, so I was unable to lead out in front for the last few gassers, but am damn proud of the way the group finished. Great work men!
