Introduction

Rolled into Citadel parking lot around 4:50.  Clipper, Nala, Tonka, Serena, Muggsy and Ball Boy had left for an EC. Saw CVS stretching out in the lot as I left to set up. Felt a little behind the game.

Ran around to set up Thang 1 and 2 in the large church parking lot to the south.  Hoping I had enough stacked up for the monster PAX that HC for the morning…

At 5:15 began the F3 welcome

Quick 1-2 count off of PAX to determine teams for Thang 1

The Thang

Thang 1

OYO AMRAP Circuit

15 Blockees

15 Goblet Squats

15 Block Windshield Wipers

15 Curl to Press

15 Coupon Hops

15 Big Boy Situps

Run the length of the church parking lot and back.

Full Circuit counts as 1 REP. Rinse and repeat to get as many reps in 30 minutes.

At the end of 30 minutes, team captains counted up total reps for all team members. Winning team would get advantage in Thang 2

Team 1 – 58 Reps

Team 2 – 95 Reps (???)

No advantage given in Thang 2 as there had to have been a miscount somewhere for Team 2

Thang 2

Team Relay Sprints

All PAX started in plank position. First PAX from each team started spring out 50 yards and back

All PAX held plank unless sprinting.

Ran too close on time and actually ended past 6 o’clock, so no MoM. Circled up in the church lot for COT.

Circle of Trust

Message again was about living your life intentionally. Making a plan and executing against that plan each day.

Around the holidays, we usually get to spend more time with family/friends. Make sure that time is memorable and valued. This is a personal goal of mine as I feel with everything going on this year, time has flown by and I’ve missed some good opportunities to connect with my family.

Prayers for Clueless as he is battling COVID and for all those who have suffered from the pandemic.

Naked Man Moleskin

Really appreciate the large attendance of PAX to the workout. Good round of AAR at the end even though we went over time.

Will continue to work on vocalizing instructions for the workout as well as the layout of Thangs. I’ve got light up cones purchased and en route, could have used them this morning!

Additional thoughts from this morning…other methods for rep counting or counting lessons may be needed!
